DIN-standard heavy-duty batteries are the European workhorse — specified by length class and EN cold-cranking performance for commercial vehicles across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. DINWEY's core DIN lines are the 58827 (DIN88) and 60038 (DIN100).
The two models differ in capacity and footprint. The DIN88 (58827) is a compact 353×175×190mm at 88Ah and 800A EN — suited to many European light and medium commercial vehicles. The DIN100 (60038) steps up to 393×175×190mm, 100Ah and 870A EN for larger trucks and higher electrical loads. Both share the same 175mm width and 190mm height, so the DIN100 fits where a longer tray is available.
Each is available in flooded, EFB and AGM technologies depending on duty cycle and vibration requirements, and every batch ships with CCA test data, certificate of analysis and MSDS documentation.

What is the difference between DIN88 and DIN100?
DIN100 (model 60038) has higher capacity (100Ah) and CCA (870A EN) than DIN88 (88Ah, 800A EN). DIN100 is physically longer (393mm vs 353mm).
Does DIN use a different CCA test than JIS/BCI?
Yes. DIN/EN cold-cranking ratings (EN amperes) differ from SAE CCA. Values are not directly interchangeable — compare within the same standard.
