DINWEYS Truck Battery Models
A structured reference of DINWEYS's core heavy-duty truck battery models across JIS and DIN standards. Each model page carries its full specification — voltage, capacity, CCA, reserve capacity and dimensions — with the test standard each rating is measured against.
Direct Answer
DINWEYS publishes full specifications for four stock models — 145G51 (N150), 190H52 (N200), 58827 (DIN88) and 60038 (DIN100). A further six group sizes appear below as third-party reference only — they are not DINWEYS published stock ratings. Compare CCA only within one test standard, and fit by group size, terminal type, polarity and tray dimensions as well as by CCA and Ah.
Important: JIS CCA, DIN EN cold-cranking and BCI (SAE) CCA are measured under different standards and are not directly comparable. Note the test standard on each model. Always confirm fit by group size, terminal type, polarity and tray dimensions against your vehicle manual.

Reference Model Specifications (third-party)
The sizes below are widely used in JIS/DIN markets, but DINWEYS does not publish them as stock ratings. Values are compiled from independent catalogs (listed on each model page) and vary between manufacturers — they are a starting point for cross-referencing a replacement, not a DINWEYS specification.
| Model | Group | Voltage | Capacity | Cold-cranking | Dimensions (L×W×H) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 65D31R | N70 | 12V | 70 Ah | 580 A (JIS, reference) | 306×173×225 mm |
| 95E41R | N100 | 12V | 100 Ah | 730 A (JIS, reference) | 410×176×234 mm |
| N120 | N120 | 12V | 120 Ah | 820 A (JIS, reference) | 505×183×240 mm |
| 245H52 | N220 | 12V | 220 Ah | 1200 A (JIS, reference) | 515×265×216 mm (total height 254 mm) |
| 56638 | DIN66 | 12V | 66 Ah | not published — confirm | 278×175×190 mm |
| 57412 | DIN74 | 12V | 74 Ah | 680 A (EN, reference) | 278×175×190 mm |
Reference specifications — not DINWEYS published stock ratings. Confirm exact CCA, capacity, terminal type, polarity and tray dimensions before ordering. DINWEYS stock lines are the four models in the tables above (145G51, 190H52, 58827, 60038).
What Changes Between the Sizes
The tables above are the specification. The question a buyer actually has is what moves when you step up a size — so the figures below are calculated from those same published values, not from a catalog.
| Model | Case (L×W×H) | Capacity | Cold-cranking | CCA per Ah | Reserve capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 58827 (DIN88) | 353×175×190 mm | 88 Ah | 800 A (EN) | 9.1 | 150 min |
| 60038 (DIN100) | 393×175×190 mm | 100 Ah | 870 A (EN) | 8.7 | 170 min |
| 145G51 (N150) | 508×222×212 mm | 135 Ah | 900 A (JIS) | 6.7 | 220 min |
| 190H52 (N200) | 520×278×220 mm | 200 Ah | 1100 A (JIS) | 5.5 | 320 min |
Four things follow from the arithmetic, and they are the reason two "similar" batteries behave differently:
- Step DIN88 → DIN100 costs 40 mm of case length and buys 12 Ah (+14%) and 70 A of EN cold-cranking (+9%). It is the cheapest size step in the range — but it still needs the longer tray.
- Step N150 → N200 costs 56 mm of width and 8 mm of height and buys 65 Ah (+48%) and 200 A of JIS CCA (+22%). The capacity jump is far larger than the cranking jump.
- CCA per amp-hour falls as case size grows — 9.1 A/Ah on DIN88 versus 5.5 A/Ah on N200. Bigger cases are buying reserve capacity (170 → 320 min), not cranking density. If the requirement is sleeper-cab or hotel load, Ah and RC matter more than the CCA headline.
- Cross-standard numbers stay incomparable. The 870 A EN figure and the 900 A JIS figure are measured at different temperatures and cut-off voltages; a DIN100 is not "almost an N150" because the CCA values look close.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I replace an N150 with an N200?
Only if the tray, hold-down and terminal orientation allow the larger case: the N200 is 56 mm wider and 8 mm taller than the N150. It also adds 65 Ah of capacity, so check that your charging system and duty cycle suit the larger bank before upgrading.
Why can't I compare JIS and EN cold-cranking figures directly?
Because the standards test at different temperatures and cut-off voltages — JIS tests at −15 °C while EN and SAE test at −18 °C — so the same physical battery prints a different CCA under each standard. Compare CCA only within one standard; see the standards comparison.
Are the reference models in the reference table DINWEYS stock lines?
No. N70, N100, N120, N220, DIN66 and DIN74 are listed as third-party reference only, compiled from independent catalogs so you can cross-reference a replacement. DINWEYS's published stock specifications are the four models in the first tables; anything else is quoted on request.
